スペイン戦で評判になったVAR（Video Assistant Referee）のシステムを提供しているのはソニーが買収したホークアイ・イノベーションズと言う会社だそうです。因みにラグビーではTMO（Television Match Official）と言いますが、これもホークアイ社の提供だそうです。

The VAR (Video Assistant Referee) system that became popular by the game with Spain is provided by a company called Hawk-Eye Innovations, which was acquired by Sony. By the way, in rugby, similar system is called TMO (Television Match Official), and it is also provided by Hawk-Eye.
